ZT125-G1

MANTIS 125

The Mantis 125 has been a popular model in the Zontes range for several years now and this is the latest version compliant with Euro 5 regulations. To sum up the Mantis you would have to say it is a classic styled motorcycle designed for everyday use.

Fitted with bright LED lighting and wide profile mirrors you are sure to be seen by other road users and certain to be able to see all around yourself. A rev counter and digital gear indicator assist the rider in having better control of the bike, at all times ensuring a more enjoyable and safer journey.

Fitted with a large 15L fuel tank and coupled to a frugal Delphi EFI system, the Mantis delivers both great range and economy, making the perfect L plate legal bike for everyday commuters and cost-conscious recreational riders.

With hydraulic disc brakes at both end of the bike and a CBS brake system, the Mantis will stop fast and safely. The CBS 9combined braking system) interlinks the front and rear braking circuits to help eliminate rear brake lock ups, especially for the less experienced and learner riders.

In addition, the low seat height of 760mm ensures most riders can be sure footed when coming to a halt, keeping better safe control of the bike.

Supplied as standard is a large rear luggage rack. The strong frame is coated in a durable synthetic material cover which ensure no corrosion. Soft luggage can easily be fastened to the ample rack whilst universal base plates can easily be secured for a variety of top cases.

ZT125-Z2

The perfect combination of design and comfort in a daily commuter, the ZT125-Z2 is packed with the technology found in other Zontes 125cc models and retains the optimum power output keeping it just within L Plate licence requirements.

Running a high compression ratio of 12.5:1, the engine delivers 10.8kW @9000rpm. This puts the engine output and bike performance just within the limits of L Plate use in the UK. Another important feature of a high compression engine is low fuel consumption, an increasingly relevant feature in today’s World.
To achieve this Zontes utilise the latest materials and technologies available to design a class beating engine.

Often seen in larger capacity, high performance models, Zontes introduce a slipper clutch to their latest 125cc models. The movement feels lighter in the hand and if a gear change is mis-timed so as engine and road speed differ hugely, the slipper clutch softens the blow. Unintentional wheel lock ups are avoided, mechanical shock lessened, and rider comfort and safety enhanced.

A centrally mounted mono shock softens the ride whilst delivering excellent control. Filled with high pressure nitrogen to ensure stability over long journeys and set with a small amount of pre-load, the rear suspension offers excellent comfort with reduced rider fatigue.

Fitted with a twin port 2.1A fast charge USB socket, all your vital auxiliary devices can be connected and charged for additional convenience. Accessory bars with fitted crash bungs are supplied as standard for enhanced safety and protection.

Automotive grade LED lights projected from compact light cells produces an outstanding illumination field of vision. The lamp unit is designed to dissipate heat to prolong LED life and reduce luminaire decay.

The dual-channel Bosch ABS system allows the rider to calmly control the motorcycle in any unexpected situation. The ABS system brings confidence under heavy braking, especially in adverse weather and on unstable road surfaces.

A clear concise LCD display collates all the information required in digital format. The display is clear in variable light conditions and is fed by an electronic wheel speed sensor.

A tyre pressure monitoring system connected to the LCD display ensures greater rider safety, reduced fuel consumption, and longer tyre life.

Crash bars and bungs fitted as standard, give your bike half a chance in the event of an unfortunate drop.

Fitted with a rear rack as standard, either soft luggage or a hard top box can be fitted with ease. If luggage isn’t your thing, the central plate of the carrier is easily removed leaving two sporty pillion grabs.

Powered by a 350 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled fuel-injected (Bosch) engine that exerts 39 HP at 9500 RPM and 33 Nm at 7500 RPM which is nearly equivalent to that of the KTM 390s and Kawasaki Ninja 300.

ZT310-M

A compact maxi scooter designed for the modern world, the M310 is spacious to ride without compromising agility. Compared to its peers the M310 outperforms in weight, power and economy…and this is before you consider the stunning design cues and specification.

Boasting 155mm of ground clearance the M310 is at home with all the city streets can through at it.

The large windshield is raised and lowered with the push of a switch. With the head on airstream lifted overhead, long journeys become infinitely more comfortable.

A TFT full colour screen keeps the rider fully informed. The display has four personalised themes available and has two backlight modes, manual and automatic. Automatic adjusts the backlight intensity according to the change in ambient light, responding quickly and conveniently.

The latest Bosch EFI system integrates functions such as headlight control, fan control, and sports & energy-saving dual-mode. The latest system can deliver performance and optimum economy as desired.

With monitors in both front and rear wheels the rider is alerted to incorrect (high or low) tyre pressures, thus enhancing rider safety. Further by operating at the correct pressure the tyres wear better giving longer life and fuel economy is optimised.

A simple press of a button toggles between ECO and Sport modes to suit your ride. Mode selection is clearly visible on the digital display. When ridden in ECO mode, the system will automatically switch to Sport mode when engine speed reaches 7,000rpm; this ensures safe overtakes without compromising fuel economy.

Using an automotive-grade LED light source with natural and soft colour temperature; the illumination field is brighter with smaller luminous dilution and longer life. The light intensity of the headlight exceeds 50,000 candelas, which makes riding long-distances late at night more enjoyable. Strong LED rear lights ensure you are seen.
